It is called Jibril's door or Bab Jibril because the Angel Jibril came down with revelation to the Prophet Muhammad SAW through this door.\nLike during the Khandaq war, where the Angel Jibril immediately met the Prophet Muhammad SAW who had just entered his house and removed his armor. The Angel Jibril ordered the Prophet Muhammad SAW to immediately surround the Banu Qurayzah who had betrayed the Muslims.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It was named Babun Nisa because the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had designated this door as the entrance for women when entering the Prophet's Mosque.\nThe Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: \"If we leave this door (then this door is special) for women.\" (Narrated by Abu Dawud)\nAfter hearing this hadith, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar never entered the Prophet's Mosque through Babun Nisa until he died.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It's so named because it's located at the back door of Abu Bakr As-Shiddiq's house (Khoukhoh). Once upon a time, some of his companions had back doors leading to the Prophet's Mosque. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered all the doors closed except the back door of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr's house (RA).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
